Lake Muirhead (east of the Grampians) and Big Reedy Lagoon (west of Yarrawonga) State Game Reserves will reopen for hunting as of tomorrow morning.
These sites, along with other wetlands currently closed, have been regularly monitored throughout the season to assess populations of threatened species, such as Brolga.
Other wetlands such as Lake Natimuk and Koorangie State Game Reserve remain closed.
Lake Muirhead and Big Reedy Lagoon State Game Reserves will be open for hunting as of half an hour before sunrise on Friday, June 9.
The Victorian Duck Season closes half an hour after sunset on Monday, June 12.
