Clay Target

2017 Field & Game Australia National Carnival 4th - 5th November

The Field & Game National Carnival one of Australia's largest clay target events with over 500 competitors shooting 150 targets over 2 days. After an extremely successful event at Pine Grove Field & Game in 2016, Wodonga Albury Field & Game will host the event in 2017.

Entries can be made online at the link below:

Please Note: Up to 3 competitors can nominate to shoot together but their nominations must be received together.

New Format for 2017!

This year's event will be shot over 6 grounds instead of the usual 3 grounds, this will allow the event to grow as we will no longer be restricted to 504 competitors. 6 grounds will also reduce to wait between rounds as up to 180 shooters will be out on the course at any one time. The other change is moving from 75 targets per day to 100 targets on Saturday and 50 targets on Sunday, this will get competitors out of the front gate many hours earlier than they ever have before.

The benefits of the new format:

  1. Ability to grow the event larger than the traditional 504 competitors
  2. Less time between rounds - less waiting
  3. 100 target Saturday - 50 targets Sunday
  4. More variety of targets
